Leanne Nebe

Leanne Nebe is an experienced media presenter, voice-over artist and brand ambassador with over 10 years of experience and 11 years retail management experience.

She has worked with several companies overseas as a brand ambassador in Chiapas Mexico including Maseca, Corona, Coca-Cola Mexico and Bancomer International Bank

Leanne first appeared on the reality talent program Australian Idol in 2005 as a fresh-faced 19-year-old and has since appeared in several productions including the lead role in the 2011 short-film Zak & Grace, (Foxtel Aurora/Vimeo) Mabo Tele-Movie (ABC1) and a featured role on the pitch segment on ABC1’s former hit show ‘‘The Gruen Transfer’, hosted by Adam Hill.

Leanne has also presented on Moreton Bay Radio 101.5FM’s Drive Show on a regular basis hosting the Thursday Drive Show 3-6pm slot.

She presented the 4OUR Thursday Drive Show and presented weather, traffic and surf reports on 101.5FM for two years.

Leanne was the web-presenter for the Yarrow Plumbing website having her first digital media work booked in 2012.

She has also undertaken numerous presenting and emcee role, hosting ‘Chicks at the Flicks’ for Birch Carrol and Coyle, , MC for Mercedes-Daimler at the 2013 Brisbane Truck Show, Fashion Shows for Stockland, My Designer Wardrobe, Hot Elysium Music, and MC for Treasury Casino’s ‘Cash Grab’ promo at the State of Origin round 1, in 2017.

Leanne has worked alongside Tripp Industries to interview State and National Wakeboard and Jet-Ski Champions as part of her work as host of ‘Road Tripp to Somerset’ for Tripp Tv.

She is a passionate individual with a positive work-ethic who strives to achieve her goals in a competitive industry.

Leanne is also a qualified baker having worked for Coles Group as a department manager up until December 2016.

Leanne is a strong communicator, who strives to perfect her public-speaking and broadcasting skills meticulously. She has completed Film and Television master classes with Tom McSweeney Productions, Gareth Harris at Metro Arts and Ben Parkinson Casting, and has also completed training at a Television, Broadcasting and Advanced Lifestyle Presenting course held at Channel Seven Studios through Media Potential . She was trained and directed by industry professionals including Media Personality Sofie Formica, Jillian Whiting, and Executive Producer Suzanne Stark.

Leanne is a seasoned communicator, who is inspired by Australian Journalism and Media. Currently studying a Bachelor of Journalism (Minors in Creative Writing and Advanced Journalism) at the Queensland University of Technology, she hopes to put her vast work-experience, passion, and versatility to use to present and report News in the mainstream media when she completes her studies in 2019.

Having lead and mentored several teams in a management and promotional capacity, Leanne works well under-pressure and would be suited to a fast-paced constantly evolving newsroom environment.
